- Cash contributions of $100 or more qualify you for a 25% tax credit based on the amount of your gift. The entire amount of cash donations is tax-deductible.
- In-kind donations of goods (including stock gifts) valued at $1,000 or more are eligible for a 12.5% tax credit. Please note that in-kind services are not tax-deductible.
Contributions that meet these criteria will be processed by Neighbor to Neighbor through the Larimer County EZ administrator, and you will receive a certification form to include with your state tax return. Multiple gifts received within a calendar year will be treated cumulatively. All other donations will be acknowledged with a receipt. Donations that support specific events will be further acknowledged with prominent display of donor name and/or company logo on event signage and relevant correspondence.
