About Our Volunteer Program

Each year, hundreds of individuals and groups mobilize to provide over 5,000 volunteer hours of support to Neighbor to Neighbor. Volunteers help in Neighbor to Neighbor offices, with landscaping and maintenance projects, supporting our Home Buyer Education classes, with research projects, resident events, and fundraising events. Our board of directors and committees are comprised of volunteers who direct the vision and strategy of all agency activities. The value of volunteer time to Neighbor to Neighbor is over $90,000 annually!

Neighbor to Neighbor has volunteer opportunities available for youth, adults, groups, service-learning students, interns, and court-referred volunteers.  We have on-going volunteer opportunities Monday through Friday during regular business hours and special weekend and evening volunteer opportunities. Volunteers under 16 are welcome to volunteer with parent/guardian supervision. Apartment painting volunteers must be over 18.
