  • Counseling Experience:  One year, four months of one-on-one housing counseling experience.
  • Relevant Professional Background & Experience:  B.A. in Spanish from University of Delaware, 1989; M.A. in Educational Counseling from University of Phoenix in 2003; Certification to teach English to non-speakers in 1999.  Bilingual middle school and high school teacher and counselor in Denver.  Profe Two years as full-time high school counselor at Summit High School in Summit County, Colorado.  Professional translation experience.
  • Bilingual Skills:  Speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently.
  • Specialized Trainings:  Homeless Management Information System training provided by Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, January, 2007; Foreclosure Prevention Training by Wells Fargo and Chase Banks, April, 2007;  Landlord Education training, March 2008; Fair Housing training, February, 2008.
