Who We Are
Mission
The mission of Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) is to empower people and promote housing opportunity through counseling, education, supportive services, community partnerships, and the provision of multi-family affordable housing.  N2N fosters stable housing and positive outcomes along all points of the housing continuum, from homelessness to home ownership.

History
Neighbor to Neighbor grew out of a grassroots movement in 1970.  In a poor neighborhood in northeast Fort Collins, a large family was about to lose their home.  Their neighbors joined together and successfully raised money to keep this family from becoming homeless.  This spirit of giving and compassion led to the founding of N2N.  Since then, our programs have expanded to meet the growing need for affordable housing and self-sufficiency programs in Larimer County, including our HUD-Certified Renter and Home Ownership programs offered in English and Spanish and our Affordable Housing program.  N2N serves over 3,500 families and individuals each year.
