Elsa first became involved with Neighbor to Neighbor through an internship in the spring of 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Colorado State University in fall of 2008.  During her internship, she helped with the rent assistance programs as well as shadowed mortgage counseling sessions, put together an affordable housing list for Loveland and Fort Collins, and assisted with anything else the counselors needed. Currently Elsa is a Housing Counselor for the rent assistance program, assisting clients with Emergency Rent Assistance, First Month’s Rent Assistance, as well as counseling clients with affordable housing searches and other resources.
