Steve joined the N2N staff in July, 2009 as a housing counselor for N2N’s renter program at the Sister Mary Alice Murphy Center for Hope. Steve initially became involved with Neighbor to Neighbor as a volunteer from November 2009 through June 2009, performing various tasks including administrative work, and event coordination. Steve earned a B.A. in Business Management from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2003. His professional background includes experience in Civil Engineering, Restaurant Ownership and Management, and the supervision of an overnight homeless shelter in Fort Collins.
Steve’s current responsibilities include Rental Counseling, Homeless Displacement Counseling, and the evaluation of Emergency Rent Assistance applications. He has participated in specialized trainings including: Homeless Management Information System training provided by Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, and the Landlord Education Series provided by the City of Fort Collins Neighborhood Services.
