  • N2N now offering utility assistance to households impacted by COVID
  • N2N completed EHAP contract with the state, so ERAP assistance is available to Larimer County only. Weld County is distributing their own assistance.
  • Wait times have decreased significantly and are now at 3-4 weeks. This is down from 6-8 weeks.
  • Other city funds, grants, and donations are used for move-in and non-COVID rent assistance

March Eviction Prevention Assistance

    • Fort Collins: 167 households received $611,314  in assistance
    • Loveland: 75 households received $290,168 in assistance
    • Weld County: 118 households received $541,986 in assistance
    • Other Larimer County: 21 households received $82,151
  • N2N is identifying processes for offering utility assistance to Larimer County households
  • ERAP and EHAP funding is for COVID impacted households only
  • Other city funds, grants, and donations are used for move-in and non-COVID rent assistance

February Eviction Prevention Assistance

  • $979,009 distributed to  207 households
  • Average assistance = $4,553/household
  • On average, clients are receiving 4 months of assistance at a time.
  • Average Area Median Income: 24%
  • Eviction Prevention Breakdown by Area
    • Fort Collins: 70 households received $329,321  in assistance
    • Loveland: 60 households received $278,918 in assistance
    • Weld County: 64 households received $315,708 in assistance
    • Other Larimer County: 13 households received $42,524
  • N2N able to provide multiple months of assistance in accordance to new state guidelines
  • N2N hired 8 additional staff members to assist processing applications
  • State guidelines starting 1/4/21 allow assistance for all back rent, current month, and 2 future months. Currently assisting through May.
