Neighbor to Neighbor strives to create a supportive, cooperative and interactive community for all residents and families. In addition to many seasonal happenings, each summer N2N celebrates National NeighborWorks’ week with an on-site community dinner and lots of fun activities.
Resident Programs
- Resident Committee – Monthly gathering to meet your neighbors and have input within your community
- Community Leadership Institute (CLI) – An opportunity to build leadership skills and participate in a yearly project that benefits the N2N community
- Rent Reporting – This program allows rent payments to be reported to major credit bureaus so residents can build credit, similar to how homeowners can through mortgage payments.
- Community Garden – An opportunity to grow your own vegetables and interact with your neighbors, with seeds, soil, starters, and plant boxes provided by N2N
- Resident Services – Supportive services including budgeting, resume building, career counseling, and resource referrals
- Lending Library – A resource library for residents to access as needed
- Community Pantry – A pantry of commonly used household and hygiene supplies for residents to access as needed
Youth Programs
- Events and activities are hosted throughout the year to support youth development and community connection (crafts, game nights, etc.)
- After-School Snack Program – during the school year, snacks are offered to all children returning home from school.
Community Partnerships
- Nappie Project – provides diapers for families in need from the Food Bank of Larimer County
- Market Days – providing vouchers for fresh produce at the Larimer County Farmer’s Market for qualified households (income-eligible older adults)
- On-site Bookmobile, Storytime for elementary children by the Poudre Library in Fort Collins
- Bike Repair – offered twice each year for all residents by Homeward Alliance
- Family Photos – provides an annual opportunity for all residents to have professional photos taken of themselves and/or their families by the Fort Collins Digital Camera Club
