On Saturday, May 2, volunteers from Leadership Fort Collins “Team Stackers” gathered at N2N’s Housing Hub and Community Building to collect donations for our new Resident Lending Library.
Over the last six weeks, LFC Team Stackers partnered with N2N to compile and share a targeted list of household necessities, small appliances, educational materials, and family entertainment options. Their efforts yielded 125 brand-new items for the Lending Library, including a shop vacuum, two sewing machines, children’s games, and other essential tools, appliances, and resources. The total value of this drive exceeded $2,000.
Now, N
2N residents will have easy access to many practical items without the need to purchase them individually. With average annual incomes across N2N properties at just $20,300, this initiative advances our mission of fostering economic mobility through financial stability, literacy, and generational wealth-building. Lending libraries like this are a proven community investment in those goals.
“Residents are thrilled! So many stopped by during the drive to enjoy a snack and thank the volunteers and donors – it was truly heartwarming,” shared Sydney Fulcher, N2N Community Development Coordinator. “This was a huge endeavor, and we are so grateful for Team Stackers and this community’s support.”
