2021 has been a year of strength and resilience – for our team, our community, and especially for the clients we serve. Our original response to the pandemic was critical to keep local families housed, and as the pandemic has continued – far longer than anyone has expected – N2N has continued to ramp up our response.

During the pandemic, we distributed $14 million, preventing over 6,000 evictions and equipping another 400 households to move into stable homes so they can start fresh. Our attention also had to shift slightly from emergency one-month assistance to working with residents and landlords to address back rent so both parties could move forward and achieve financial stability.

Meanwhile, our other programs grew as well. Over 1,500 households educated by our Homebuyer Education Program purchased their first home! We became one of four programs state-wide to now offer mortgage assistance. As for the N2N housing residents who were among the hardest hit by job losses, our resident services expanded to offer food and diaper deliveries. Additionally, property improvement efforts are underway to preserve critical affordable homes in our community.

Community support changes the trajectory of future generations who get to grow up in stable homes. We invite you to join us in our effort to ensure that every family has a place to call home. Check out our 2022 Partnership Opportunities and see how you can make a difference today.
