February 26 – Spending Choices and Personality

Many factors influence how we spend money. One of the biggest factors is our attitudes about money. Understanding how buying things makes you feel is key to helping you spend money on things that match your needs and values.

March 4 – Tracking Your Spending

For many people tracking your spending is a new thing. It’s the beginning step to creating your spending plan. You need to know where your money has gone to make changes and get it going where you want it to go. There is no one best way to track your spending. The method you use is entirely up to you.

March 11 – Saving Money

Looking into the future, what would it look like if you were financially stable and not worrying about money? Would you feel better prepared and more independent? Would you feel you could weather some of the bad storms in your life? Do you think you would be able to achieve your goals in life? Would your life be less stressful? Does financial worry affect your mood and health?

March 18 – Spending Plans

Budgeting many people hate the word and dread the thought. Here is a more friendly-sounding term Spending Plan. Budgeting is simply making a plan for how you spend your money. The idea of a budget can be intimidating, but the truth is anyone can do it and you don’t need to be a math whiz. All you need is a simple calculator, a little organization, and some commitment.
