N2N honored as first recipient at annual Celebration of Philanthropy – Better Together Event on May 9, 2024

On May 9th, Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) was awarded the Regional Nonprofit Grant Award by The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado (NoCo Foundation), and presented with $25,000 in support of N2N’s ongoing efforts to provide housing stability and opportunity.  Since 1975, the NoCo Foundation has served as a catalyst for community projects, a service provider to philanthropists and nonprofit organizations, and a steward of long-term gift arrangements.

NoCo Foundation Community Fund Committee representatives from Loveland, Estes Park, Fort Collins, and Berthoud collaboratively selected Neighbor to Neighbor after defining challenges impacting the region and identifying the work N2N is doing to solve these key issues through policies and systems. The first of its kind, the Regional Nonprofit Grant Award was given to N2N for its efforts to prevent homelessness, help families find affordable housing, and work with families to maintain homeownership.

“The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado is recognized for their philanthropic leadership in our region,” shared N2N Executive Director Kelly Evans. “We value their commitment to strengthening foundational causes and we are honored they have chosen to support N2N residents and our neighbors in reaching their goals and achieving their full potential.”
