On August 4th, resident families gathered at the N2N Housing Hub and Community Building for our annual Summer Block Party. Neighbors from 50 N2N households spent the afternoon enjoying tacos from Las Catrinas, treats from Kona Ice, and time connecting with their neighbors.
Resident events like the Summer Block Party help to support families beyond housing. Students prepared for the school year by selecting their own backpacks and supplies, creating personalized keychains, and assembling “survival kits” with school essentials. N2N also launched an after-school snack program this year. After the event, backpacks and school supplies were delivered to families who were unable to attend, ensuring all 100 school-aged N2N residents received back-to-school support.
We are grateful to our community supporters, volunteers, and N2N Resident Committee for investing their time and effort to give N2N families a strong start to the school year.
