Lifeline Support

A federal benefit that lowers the monthly cost of phone or internet service for qualifying applicants.

Get FoCo

All-in-one application portal to discounted services and municipal benefits offered by the City of Fort Collins, for income-eligible residents. Some of the programs include:

  • The Grocery Rebate Program is accepting applications starting August 1, 2022.  This program is year round. One application per household each calendar year.
  • Connexion Discount Program:  Digital Inclusion Program is an income-qualified rate of $20 per month for 1 gig-speed of internet plus wireless. Applications are accepted all year.
  • Recreation Reduced Fee Program:  Provides income-eligible families and residents reduced cost access to recreation programs, classes, and facilities across the community.

Larimer County Digital Roots for Job Seekers

Larimer County Digital Roots for Job Seekers is a community program to help you grow your digital skills.  They have resources and support to help you with: Creating an email account; Completing an online job application; Using virtual meeting platforms; Updating or reformatting resumes; Navigating online job searches; Developing a career profile on Indeed, LinkedIn and others; Researching in-demand jobs in Northern Colorado. To get started, complete the Digital Roots Program Form.

Office on Aging Voucher Programs

Larimer County’s Office on Aging offers several resources, guides, and voucher programs geared towards older adults and caregiver support in our community. Currently, three voucher programs exist for in-home services, household chores, and family caregiver support. Visit the Office on Aging webpage to learn more and apply.

A Little Help Northern Colorado

If you are an older adult looking for support, connection, or occasional neighborly assistance, you can apply for membership to receive friendly help from caring local volunteers—whether it’s a ride to the doctor, a visit to brighten your day, or help around the house. Our program is designed to help older adults stay connected and independent in the communities they love. Volunteers assist older adults (ages 55+) in Denver, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Larimer, and parts of Weld and Adams Counties. Market Days! for Older Adults in Larimer County

Market Days! for Older Adults addresses food insecurity among older adults while supporting local agriculture. Market Days! buys food from local Larimer County Farmers’ Market vendors, volunteers bag up the produce, and recipients either pick up or receive their produce by delivery from a volunteer. Participants receive $18 worth of fresh produce bag every other week from June until the end of October. Youth and Young Adult Programs, Services and Educational Opportunities:

The Lunch Lab

The Lunch Lab is a summer program offered by The Food Bank of Larimer County, offering both hot and cold meal options for kids’ lunches from food trucks at various daily sites. Summer service information is posted in May. 

These meals are available to all youth 18 and under. The Lunch Lab gives school-aged kids a free meal each time they visit. All kids are welcome and no ID or school registration is needed in order to receive a healthy lunch*As per USDA updates, meals must be eaten on-site, and only one meal per kid is served.


I Matter Program

The I Matter Program offers Colorado kids up to six free mental health sessions. Spanish language version of the program can be found at YoImportoColorado.org.


TAC212

 TAC212 is a Free, inclusive, and fun supervised space that is drug, weapon, and alcohol-free, created as a regular “third” space outside of school and home for teens to feel supported, gain experiences, and make lasting connections. This center strives to be the community and resource hub for 13–18-year-olds in Northern Colorado. 

TAC212 offers a variety of scheduled programming, drop-in activities, and mental health resources for FREE. Teens have access to art supplies, computers, gaming consoles, movie streaming, puzzles, games, books, snacks, friends and more!

TAC212 was created in partnership by The Center for Family Outreach, Larimer County Department of Health and Environment, and the Youth Advisory Committee.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Apply for a Bed

To qualify as a recipient of a free bed, you must be the legal guardian of the child or children ages 3-17 years old receiving the bed. Please submit this online SHP Application Form mentioned above. Visit the shpbeds.org website to learn more about qualifications, and if applicable, complete their online application.


Front Range Community College Scholarships

The Career Launch grant is designed to provide tuition support to students via matching funds for community scholarships so that tuition costs are not a barrier to entry, to reduce the currently unmanageable amount of student loan debt, and to create a workforce that has the skills, knowledge, adaptability, and diversity to continue to drive Colorado’s economic growth. Scholarship organizations are required to match COSI funding 1:1 with community scholarship dollars and provide students with a connection to career services/opportunities.

The Second Chance Scholarship is for individuals who wish to pursue a college degree and have been released from the Division of Youth Services (DYS) commitment facility within the last 5 years may be eligible for up to $5,000 each year toward the cost of education. Choose among many college and career path options, including a traditional college degree to online & certificate programs.

Colorado Poverty Law Project (CPLP)

The Colorado Poverty Law Project (CPLP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing homelessness through legal representation, education, and advocacy. CPLP connects low-income individuals with free legal services to fight evictions and housing injustice.

For tenants facing eviction, CPLP is now offering in-person Larimer County Court Eviction Legal Clinics every Tuesday from 9 AM – 12 PM at the Larimer County Courthouse  (201 Laporte Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80521). Attorneys may not be able to speak with all attendees, but will prioritize tenants who have a return date scheduled for that date. This clinic is for tenants only; attorneys are not able to assist landlords.

Pet/Support Animal Services and Programs:

Subsidized Veterinary Care

Humane Colorado has a list of locations for receiving subsidized veterinary care, as well as a short-term Pet Assist Program to help those in need of a temporary safe place for their pet to live due to a variety of factors that leave them unable to care for their animals and when no other assistance is available.

Colorado Pet Pantry

The Colorado Pet Pantry will temporarily feed Colorado pets, allowing families to increase their ability to care for pets with the goal of keeping them out of shelters and with their families. Find a Pet Food Bank near you.
