2009-2010 Preferred Partner List

Fort Collins – Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N), a Larimer County non-profit that helps families achieve homeownership, has unveiled its first-ever list of Preferred Partners. 

“The Preferred Partner program enhances Neighbor to Neighbor’s Home Ownership Program, which offers free services to Larimer County residents including Home Buyer Education classes, Pre-Purchase Counseling, Foreclosure Prevention Counseling and Reverse Mortgage Counseling,” said Lindsay Nichols, program director.  “Clients have often asked our counselors for recommendations and referrals.  Now, when clients come in for one-on-one counseling, we can offer a list of professionals whose business practices and values are aligned with our mission to create successful home owners.”

Neighbor to Neighbor adheres to the National Industry Standards for Homeownership Education and Counseling. These standards meet and exceed those set forth by NeighborWorks® America and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Preferred Partners have agreed to adhere to written standards and practices.  N2N partners with realtors, lenders, and insurance agents in a partnership fee model to create a full-cycle of home ownership counseling.  This year’s Preferred Partners were selected through a competitive application process.  N2N’s Preferred Partners for July 1, 2009 – June 30, 2010 are:
